RB Leipzig captain Peter Gulacsi is likely to be back in goal against VfL Wolfsburg this Saturday.
The 32-year-old, who missed last week’s 2-1 defeat against Union Berlin with adductor problems, is not back in training yet, but is hopeful that he will be fit enough to feature against ‘Die Wölfe’.
“We’re still doing tests day by day,” Gulacsi said today.
“I was in the weight room and was able to do all movements. That gives hopes for the weekend,” he noted.
Sitting 11th with two points after three games, Leipzig will be under pressure to pick up their first win of the season against Wolfsburg.
“This isn’t good enough for our ambitions. We need to win a game. That would give a lot of peace. If we play well and don’t get anything, it won’t help,” said Gulacsi.
