According to a report from Foot Mercato, Layvin Kurzawa (32) has agreed a deal to join Boavista on a short-term contract until the end of the season. The former France international is a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in June.
During the winter transfer window, the former Fulham loanee received offers from several clubs including Watford and Leganés. However, Kurzawa has agreed a deal to join Boavista. The Portuguese side currently sit 18th in the Liga Portugal. The 32-year-old has agreed a 5-month contract and would be willing to complete a medical to complete the deal.
Boavista banned
Despite agreeing a deal to sign Kurzawa on a free transfer, the Portuguese outfit are currently unable to complete the deal due to an outstanding transfer ban. For any transfer to be approved, the Gérard Lopez-owned club will have to solve this issue.
