Former Hertha BSC captain Dedryck Boyata has left the German capital club to join Club Brugge.
The 31-year-old centre-back’s move to Belgium was confirmed by the two clubs earlier this evening.

“Dedryck has his accomplishments with Hertha BSC,” said Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic.

“His transfer to Bruges is a good solution to all parties involved. We thank him sincerely for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future!”
