VfL Wolfsburg have announced that Marin Pongracic has joined Italian Serie A outfit Lecce on a season-long loan deal.
While spending the 2021/22 season out on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Pongracic sued Wolfsburg in a dispute over performance bonuses, but they have now put their differences aside.
“Notwithstanding the legal situation, both the player and the club decided to withdraw the claims which they had each submitted and thus to put an end to the dispute between them,” VfL Wolfsburg said in a statement.
The 24-year-old central defender joined Wolfsburg from RB Salzburg back in January 2020. He has featured 23 times for ‘Die Wölfe’
