Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are now very close to signing Fikayo Tomori on a permanent basis.
Earlier today, it was reported that Spurs are ahead of Aston Villa in the race for the English centre-back and it now seems that the move is all but done.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Tottenham have pretty much beaten Aston Villa in the chase and are closing in on a permanent move for the centre-back. The move is at an advanced stage and talks are very close to concluding between the two clubs.
They will pay around €30 million for the centre-back, who has failed to impress in the last couple of seasons. Juventus had earlier backed away in their move for him after his performance against them two weeks ago but Tomori now seems set to head back to the Premier League.
He would add depth at the back but his quality remains to be seen.
