Julian Weigl is reportedly set to join Gladbach on loan from Benfica.

Portuguese media outlet Record reports that Gladbach are on the verge of agreeing a deal to land Julian Weigl on loan on from Benfica.
Gladbach initially wanted to sign Weigl on a permanent basis, but were unable to reach an agreement with Benfica.
In addition, Weigl himself is currently only interested in joining Gladbach on loan and not permanently, per the report.
Weigl, who joined Benfica for €20 million from Borussia Dortmund in January 2020, has been limited to 57 minutes of football this season.
