L’Equipe reports that Gladbach have shut down interest from Newcastle in Manu Koné.

Newcastle United have reportedly shown interest in Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Koné.
According to L’Equipe, Newcastle have contacted ‘Die Fohlen’ about the possibility of bringing the French midfielder to England before the transfer window closes.
Per the report, the English Premier League side were ready to splash €35 million on Koné, but Gladbach were quick to turn down their advances, making it clear that the player is not for sale.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who was signed from Toulouse for €9 million last year, has a long-term contract until 2025.
