After selling Omar Marmoush to Manchester City for a reported €80 million including add-ons, Eintracht Frankfurt are on the lookout for a replacement.
Olympique Marseille’s Elye Wahi has been touted as Eintracht’s preferred candidate to replace the Egypt international, and Sky Germany now reports that the Bundesliga side have had an initial offer of €20 million rejected.
According to Bild, Marseille are demanding around €28 million for Wahi, who they signed for €25 million from RC Lens last summer.
Time will tell if a deal can be struck for the French striker, who has found the net three times in 13 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
