After a full agreement was reached between all parties last week, Omar Marmoush’s move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester City has now been made official.
The Egypt international leaves Eintracht in a deal worth a reported €80 million including bonuses.
“Omar approached us with his transfer request and stressed that this could be a unique opportunity for him to play for one of the top clubs in the Premier League,” said Eintracht boss Markus Krösche.
“He has achieved a great deal for Eintracht Frankfurt and played a major role in our sporting development. This is another reason why we have agreed to his request. We wish Omar Marmoush all the best for the future. He will always be welcome in Frankfurt.”
Eintracht signed Marmoush on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2023. He scored 37 goals and laid on 20 assists in 67 appearances for Die Adler.
