Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Friday spoken out on the ongoing speculation linking Manchester United star Marcus Rashford with a move to the club.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course proven a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several weeks now.
As much comes amid the understanding that the England international has been identified as a potential January signing by Barcelona.
Available on loan this month, Rashford is seen as a viable option to reinforce the left flank in Hansi Flick’s squad.
With the rumours only mounting as we head into the 2nd half of the transfer window, the name of the Man United man was, in turn, put to Barca’s headmaster himself on Friday.
And Flick, in his response, went on to explain:
“Rashford? I always say I am happy with the group, we only have 3 injured now. I have to say that we are working independently of the medical staff… It depends on Deco but I’m happy with the team.”
