for U.S. international winger Alejandro Zendejas, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

Zendejas, 26, is a key player on a hugely successful America side that has won three consecutive Mexican league titles. He has four goals and five assists across 19 appearances (1,455 minutes) so far this season.

The winger has 11 caps with the USMNT and has been called into each of the first two camps under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Montreal Signs Veteran Midfielder

CF Montreal
have signed midfielder Fabian Herbers to a contract through 2026. The 31-year-old was a free agent after spending the last five seasons with the Chicago Fire.

The German midfielder has tallied 19 goals and 24 assists in 205 regular-season MLS appearances since being selected sixth overall by the Philadelphia Union in the 2016 SuperDraft.

Charlotte Bringing Back Biel

are finalizing a deal to re-sign attacker Pep Biel on loan from Olympiakos, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

The new deal is structured in a way which Biel won’t be a designated player, sources add. The deal is agreed and Biel will head to Charlotte.

Biel, 28, joined Charlotte in August on a short-term loan deal. The player impressed in his short time in America, with two goals and three assists in nine appearances.

Austin FC Closing in on Vazquez

are nearing a deal to sign U.S. national team forward Brandon Vazquez from CF Monterrey, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Just the final details remain, sources say.

Vazquez, 26, has 14 goals with Monterrey over his first year with the club. Rayados fell in the Liga MX apertura final to Club America over the first half of this season.

He has 11 caps with the U.S. national team.

Before heading to Mexico, Vazquez had 28 goals and 12 assists across his last two MLS seasons with FC Cincinnati
, where he broke out as a star in the league. Monterrey paid a fee around $7.5 million for Vazquez to Cincinnati last winter.

Fire Sell Salquist to Danish Club

have sold defender Tobias Salquist to Danish first-division side FC Nordsjaelland. Salquist, 29, spent one season with Chicago after arriving in January from Silkeborg IF.

The Danish center-back registered one assist in 16 appearances this past season.

Revs Bolster Attack

have signed Costa Rican winger Luis Diaz to a contract through 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027.

Diaz, 26, was a free agent, last playing for Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa. Diaz previously spent five seasons in MLS from 2019 to 2023, tallying six goals and 14 assists in 86 appearances between Columbus Crew and Colorado Rapids.

Diaz won MLS Cup 2020 with the Crew, under current Revolution manager Caleb Porter.

NYCFC Loan Midfielder to Bundesliga Club

are loaning midfielder James Sands to German side FC St. Pauli through June 2025, with the possibility of extending the loan through the 2025-26 season.

Sands, 24, spent the 2022-23 season on loan in Scotland, making 41 appearances for Rangers FC. The US international signed a contract with NYCFC through 2028 after returning to North America. The New York native was the club’s first-ever homegrown signing in 2017, and has gone on to make 143 appearances in all competitions for the Pigeons.

Austin FC Signs Former LAFC Captain

have signed free agent midfielder Ilie Sanchez through 2025, with an option for 2026.

Sanchez, 34, spent the last three seasons with Los Angeles FC
, winning the Supporters’ Shield and MLS Cup double in 2022, while also lifting the 2024 US Open Cup.

The Spanish-American midfielder is a nine-year MLS veteran, spending the first five seasons of his career with Sporting Kansas City
. He has tallied 10 goals and 18 assists in 242 regular-season appearances.

Sounders Swing Blockbuster Trade For Ferreira

The Seattle Sounders have reached an agreement on a blockbuster deal to acquire U.S. international forward Jesus Ferreira in a trade with FC Dallas, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

Dallas will receive $2 million GAM, a 2025 international roster spot and winger Leo Chu in exchange for Ferreira, sources add. Dallas could receive further performance-based add-ons.

During his time in Dallas, Ferreira accrued 53 goals and 34 assists in 163 appearances. He had five goals and six assists in an injury-riddled 2024 season where he was limited to just 1,324 minutes. He is two years removed from a career-best 2022 season in which he had 18 goals and six assists.

Ferreira has 15 goals in 23 caps for the USMNT and was part of his country’s squad at the 2022 World Cup.

Nashville Offloads Shaq Moore

Fire, Gimenez Mutually Terminate Contract

and midfielder Gaston Gimenez have mutually terminated the player’s contract, opening a Designated Player spot on Chicago’s roster for the 2025 MLS season.

Gimenez, 33, joined the Fire in 2020 from Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield, tallying four goals and 11 assists in 134 appearances across all competitions.

The Paraguay international will reportedly join Cerro PorteƱo in his home country.

LAFC Sign Top Free Agent Striker

are signing striker Jeremy Ebobisse to a contract through 2027, with an option for 2028. Ebobisse, 27, scored six goals for the San Jose Earthquakes last season. The United States international has accumulated 68 goals in 229 appearances over eight MLS seasons, split between the Quakes and Portland Timbers.

Ebobisse has reached double-digit goals in three different seasons, and has one cap for USMNT.

Timbers Sign Versatile MLS Veteran

have signed winger Ariel Lassiter to a contract through 2026, with an option for 2027. Lassiter, 30, will play in his ninth MLS season and his sixth club, spending time with the LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, Inter Miami, CF Montreal and Chicago Fire.

The Costa Rican internation has posted 12 goals and 15 assists in 149 regular-season MLS games.

Revolution Reinforce Backline

Beason spent the past five seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes

Julio, 28, had a career-best nine goals and three assists in 33 appearances for Real Salt Lake last season.

Union Bring In Argentinian Youth International

have signed center-back Ian Glavinovich on a year-long loan from Argentine side Newell’s Old Boys. The deal includes a purchase option.

Glavinovich, 23, made 30 appearances for Newell’s, and has played twice for Argentina’s U-23 side.

PSV Swoop In For Revs Starboy

, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. PSV and the Revs have reached an agreement in principle over a deal worth up to $6 million, sources say. New England will retain a sell-on clause.

Bajraktarevic, 19, had four goals and four assists across all competitions (2,479 minutes) this season. He has already made 57 first team appearances in his young career.

RSL Bring In Manoel

are acquiring forward Elias Manoel from New York Red Bulls, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. RSL are also getting three 2025 MLS SuperDraft picks and one 2026 pick, in exchange for $700,000 in GAM.

Manoel, 23, scored 13 goals and registered 10 assists in 67 appearances over three seasons with the Red Bulls after joining New York from Brazilian side Gremio in 2022.

Atlanta Acquiring Former Premier League Midfielder

are finalizing a deal to acquire midfielder Mateusz Klich from DC United, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

The deal is for $300,000 GAM and the No. 23 overall pick at the 2025 MLS SuperDraft. D.C. could receive another $50,000 GAM in add-ons. The Washington Post first reported the agreement.

Sources add the deal will not open a designated player spot for D.C. United, who will retain a large portion of Klich’s cap hit. Klich will not occupy a DP spot for Atlanta.

Klich, 34, joined D.C. United from Leeds United
ahead of the 2023 season. The midfielder had six goals and 22 assists in 63 regular season appearances with D.C.

Revs Pry Star Striker From Miami

The Revolution announced on Thursday that they have acquired forward Leonardo Campana from Inter Miami CF in exchange for $2-million in 2025 GAM, $500,000 in 2026 GAM, a 2025 International Roster Spot and a 2026 International Roster Spot.

Miami is retaining a sell-on percentage and could receive up to $750,000 in conditional GAM if certain incentives are met.

Campana, 24, joined the Herons in 2022, scoring 32 goals and eight assists in 100 total appearances in South Florida. The Ecuadorian international was an integral part of the Miami squads that won the 2024 Supporters’ Shield and Leagues Cup 2023 titles. Campana tallied eight goals and three assists in 28 appearances — including 14 starts — in 2024.

Nashville Acquires MLS Cup MVP

Nashville is acquiring midfielder Gaston Brugman in exchange for midfielder Sean Davis. Nashville can receive up to $100,000 in conditional GAM for 2026, and will retain a percentage of Davis’ salary budget charge.

Brugman, 32, has tallied six goals and 10 assists in 72 appearances for LA across all competitions. He appeared in all five of the Galaxy’s playoff games in 2024, and earned the 2024 Audi MLS Cup MVP after his side triumphed in the championship game.

Davis, 31, made 106 appearances in all competitions for Nashville, scoring once and tallying five assists after joining Nashville as a free agent in 2022.

Red Bulls Sign German Defender

are signing German center-back Alexander Hack, GIVEMESPORT reports. Hack, 31, spent last season with Al Qadsiah FC in Saudi Arabia.

San Diego Snags Veteran Midfielder

have signed midfielder Anibal Godoy to a contract through 2025, with options for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The 34-year-old spent the last decade with the San Jose Earthquakes (2015-2019) and Nashville SC (2020-2024), putting up eight goals and nine assists in 212 regular-season appearances.

Godoy has earned 143 caps with the Panama national team, the second-most in the nation’s history.

Dallas Adds Free Agent CB

Red Bulls Ink Choupo-Moting

have completed the deal to sign forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg first reported the deal.

Choupo-Moting’s deal runs through the 2026 season, with an option for 2027.

The 35-year-old left Bayern Munich
as a free-agent in the summer after scoring 19 goals in 88 appearances for the German giants. The Cameroon internation joins NYRB as a Designated Player, joining Emil Forsberg and Dante Vanzeir as the 2024 MLS Cup Finalists’ DPs.

San Jose Brings Back Veteran Defender

Lima spent last season with the New England Revolution
, scoring once in 25 appearances. This is the 30-year-old’s second stint with the Quakes, playing in San Jose between 2017 and 2020 after rising up the ranks as homegrown player. The nine-time United States Soccer

Dallas Signs Brazilian Midfielder

Benetti, 31, spent the better part of last decade playing in Brazil’s SĆ©rie A, last appearing for Cruzeiro. He’s accumulated 34 goals and 27 assists in 469 career club appearances, winning the Copa Libertadores with Gremio in 2017.

Revs Snag Top Free Agent Yueill

The Revolution have registered a big win early in the offseason, signing top free agent midfielder Jackson Yueill to a contract through 2027, with options for the 2028 and 2029 seasons.

The 29-year-old spent eight seasons with the San Jose Earthquakes after being selected sixth overall in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. Yueill has scored 13 goals and dished 19 assists in 210 regular-season appearances. The UCLA alum has 16 caps with the United States men’s national team, winning the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup and 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League.

Yueill was one of the top free agents on GIVEMESPORT’s list ahead of the offseason.

Dynamo Sign Veteran Keeper

NYCFC Offload Midfielder to Brazil

has transferred midfielder Nicolas Acevedo to Brazilian club Esporte Club Bahia, where the 25-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan.

Acevedo joined NYCFC in 2020 from Uruguyan side Liverpool Montevideo, making 82 appearances and winning both MLS Cup 2021 and 2022 Campeones Cup.

DC Signs Brazilian Winger

has signed Brazilian winger Joao Peglow from Polish club Radomiak Radom. Peglow has signed a contract through 2027, with an option for 2028.

The 22-year-old has accumulated 11 goals and 11 assists in 120 club appearances, spending time in Brazil, Portugal, Ukraine and Poland in his professional career so far.

Minnesota Sells Defender to Chivas

is selling center-back Miguel Tapias to Mexican club Chivas, Erick Lopez reported. Sources tell GIVEMESPORT that the fee is north of $1 million.

The 27-year-old made 65 appearances over two seasons after arriving from Pachuca in February 2023.

Chicago Fire to sign Jack Elliott

are finalizing deal to sign center-back Jack Elliott, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

Elliott, 29, had spent his entire professional career with Philadelphia before getting to free agency this winter. He made 270 apps with the Union.

Elliott was one of the top free agents on the board. He becomes the new defensive anchor for the Fire as they reload into a new era led by Gregg Berhalter.

Palmeiras finalizing deal for Torres

Palmeiras are finalizing a deal to sign Uruguay international winger Facundo Torres from Orlando City SC
, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

The deal is worth a club-record fee which could rise to $14 million including add-ons, sources say. Orlando retain a sell-on clause. Personal terms have been agreed as well, as Palmeiras beat out a late push from Cruz Azul. The deal is complete pending signatures.

A deal to sign Torres has been a rollercoaster in the last week, with Palmeiras initially agreeing a fee with Orlando before Cruz Azul attempted to convince the player to come to Mexico. Orlando’s stance the whole time was that they agreed terms with Palmeiras, and as far as they were concerend, that was the only deal they were focused on.

Revs Bring in Another Center-Back

The 23-year-old has signed a contract through 2027, with an option for 2028. The deal utilized Targeted Allocation Money (TAM).

Ceballos spent time on loan with Ukraine’s Dynamo Kyiv last season, and has four goals in 110 professional appearances during his career so far.

Timbers Acquire Rights to Kelsy

have acquired the right of first refusal to negotiate a transfer for forward Kevin Kelsy from FC Cincinnati
, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

Portland is now in talks with Kelsy’s parent club Shakhtar Donetsk over a transfer. The 20-year-old joined Cincinnati on loan in the spring and scored six goals in 23 appearances.

Fire Loan Koutsias to Swiss Club

Chicago and Lugano are both owned by Joe Mansueto. The move opens a U22 Initiative and international roster spot for the Fire.

San Diego Trades Away Another Pick

Kijima, 22, was the 17th overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, and tallied two goals and two assists in 21 appearances for St. Louis this past season.

San Diego and Toronto Make Expansion Draft Deal

in exchange for the ninth-overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, $250,000 in conditional GAM and a sell-on percentage for any future transfer abroad.

Andrade was San Diego’s fourth selection in Wednesday’s Expansion Draft after being left unprotected by New York City FC
. The 24-year-old managed 12 goals and five assists in 71 appearances for New York City between 2021 and 2024. The Brazilian youth international spent the last two seasons on loan with Athletico Paranaense in Brazil and Shenzhen Peng City in China.

San Diego Get Keeper From Miami

Dos Santos, 24, only played three games for Miami between 2022 and 2024, helping the club clinch the Leagues Cup 2023 and 2024 Supporters’ Shield titles.

San Diego Reinforces Defense

defender Christopher McVey.

San Diego immediately signed McVey to a contract extension through the 2026 season, with an option for 2027. The 27-year-old has made 77 MLS appearances for DC and Inter Miami, scoring twice and providing two assists.

Cruz Azul Trying to Hijack Deal for Facundo Torres

Mexican giants Cruz Azul are attempting to hijack Palmeiras’ deal to sign Uruguay international Facundo Torres from Orlando City SC
, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.

GIVEMESPORT revealed on Monday that Palmeiras had agreed to terms with Orlando over a club-record deal for Torres, but the transfer was pending an agreement on personal terms. GIVEMESPORT also revealed on December 4 that Cruz Azul were strongly interested in the player.

The Mexican club is pushing Torres to pick Liga MX over Brazil, but they have yet to make a bid to Orlando City.

San Diego Pick Up Defender From Red Bulls

, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. RBNY will receive a package in the neighborhood of $800,000 GAM, sources add.

Reyes has made 98 appearances with New York since joining the club in 2021. The 25-year-old was supposed to be in the starting lineup for Red Bulls’ MLS Cup Final against Los Angeles Galaxy
on Saturday, but pulled out of the starting lineup minutes before kick-off due to illness.

The Colombian international becomes San Diego’s eighth player, with the expansion draft coming on Wednesday night.

DC Get Goalkeeper From NYCFC

have acquired goalkeeper Luis Barraza from New York City FC
. New York will receive up to $150,000 in GAM ($50,000 guaranteed, $100,000 conditional) in exchange for the 28-year-old.

Barraza made 30 appearances in his time with the Pigeons, putting up six shutouts. He was the 12th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.

San Diego Acquires Young LAFC Forward

and a second-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft for $200,000 in GAM.

The 21-year-old arrived in California last winter, and scored two goals in seven appearances this past season. The Colombian youth international spent the second half of the year with USL’s Phoenix Rising, where he scored three times in 15 games.

, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Personal terms are being finalized between Torres and the Brazilian club, but a full agreement has been reached by both clubs, sources say.

According to sources, the fee would eclipse the $9.5 million club-record transfer that sent forward Daryl Dike to West Bromwich Albion FC
in 2022.

Torres had 14 goals and six assists in 32 matches this year. He has 37 goals and 20 assists in 95 regular season games with Orlando.

Awaziem, 27, joined Cincinnati last summer after spending several seasons in some of Europe’s top leagues, suiting up for the likes of Boavista, FC Porto, Leganes, and Nantes.

Murphy, 24, made a total of 105 appearances for Cincy since being drafted in the first round of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft.

Orellano was acquired on loan from the Brazilian club in the winter, putting up 10 goals and four assists in his first season in MLS. His long-range effort against Montreal was voted MLS Goal of the Season.

The New England Revolution have signed Mali international center-back Mamadou Fofana from Ligue 2 club Amiens SC, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. L’Equipe first reported the deal. Sources add the fee is around $1.7 million.

Fofana, 26, has been a consistent starter for Amiens in his three-and-a-half seasons with the club, making 121 appearances. He’s also spent time with Metz FC in Ligue 1, as well as a spell in Turkey with Alanyaspor and Bandirmaspor.

The defender has 42 caps with Mali, having started each of his country’s six Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this year.

New York are finalizing a deal to sign Polish youth international forward Wiktor Bogacz from Miedz Legnica, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Bogacz will hit the roster as a U-22 initiative signing. Piotr Kozminski first reported the agreement.

Additionally, the Red Bulls are in discussions to sign Chile international left back Marcelo Morales from Club Universidad de Chile, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. TNT Sports Chile first reported the talks.

Bogacz, 20, has three goals and two assists in Polish second division action this season. Morales, 21, has already made 110 appearances for Universitad de Chile, and has two caps with the national team.

Cincinnati Pull Off MLS-Record Signing for Striker

The fee will be $16.2 million, eclipsing the $16 million fee Atlanta United
paid to sign Thiago Almada in 2022. The deal was first revealed by GIVEMESPORT on November 9.

Denkey, 23, broke onto the scene with an outstanding 2023-24 campaign in which he scored 28 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions.

The Togo international has eight goals in 34 caps for his country.
