La Liga giants Barcelona welcomed not one, but two players back into the fold in training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Thursday.
This comes amid confirmation that both Lamine Yamal and Héctor Fort are closing on full fitness.
Wide-man Lamine has for his part been sidelined since the middle of last month, owing to an ankle sprain suffered whilst lining out against Leganés.
Defender Fort, meanwhile, was left out of Hansi Flick’s matchday squad to face Atlético Madrid in Barcelona’s final fixture prior to the festive break.
Safe to say, then, that all of a Blaugrana persuasion will no doubt be delighted to hear of the pair being given the green light to resume physical activities.
As confirmed by a number of sources across the Spanish media, both Lamine and Fort were spotted back in group training earlier today.
It now remains to be seen if either is called up for Barca’s upcoming Copa del Rey meeting with Barbastro this weekend.
