Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has poured cold water on speculation linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to the club.
According to reports, the 37-year-old Portuguese superstar has been offered to Dortmund by his agent, Jorge Mendes.
However, Watzke claims there is no contact between Dortmund and the Manchester United star.
“I love this player, it’s certainly a charming idea. To see Cristiano Ronaldo play at Signal Iduna Park,” Watzke told reporters at a press conference today.
“But there is no contact at all between the parties involved. So from now on, you should stop talking about it.”
