Casemiro set for Manchester United medical

Real Madrid have given Casemiro permission to undergo a medical with Manchester United on Friday, according to Marca.

After three days of studying and reflecting on the proposal made by the English club, the Brazilian has decided to join United.

The transfer fee is reportedly closer to 70 million euros than the 60 million that was initially talked about.

Carlo Ancelotti is still relying on a last-ditch attempt to convince the midfielder to stay at Real Madrid.

The 30-year-old will offer invaluable experience to a United dressing room currently in urgent need of leadership.

Casemiro has won three La Liga titles, five UEFA Champions Leagues and three FIFA Club World Cups with Real Madrid.
