Bayern Munich have been rocked by the news that Sacha Boey has suffered an ankle injury.
The Bavarians released a brief statement on Tuesday confirming that the full-back has sustained an ankle ligament injury in training.
Boey has already missed a significant part of the season due to a torn meniscus.
After fighting his way back, the Frenchman now faces another spell on the sidelines.
In the absence of Boey, Konrad Laimer looks set to retain his starting berth at right-back against RB Leipzig on Friday.
