Omar Marmoush scored once again in the Bundesliga, this time getting a brace with a goal in each half.
Farès Chaïbi and Hugo Ekitiké also scored but it was 21-year-old Nathaniel Brown who impressed the most with two assists and a high pass accuracy.
Having only made his first league start this season just under a month ago, Brown has already scored twice in these four Bundesliga games since.
His performances didn’t go unnoticed by coach Dino Toppmöller either, who said: “He has been doing outstanding for a number of weeks. I have already mentioned one or two times, that he was top in training but then others were ahead of him.” (DAZN)
He added: “Now he has convincingly used the chance that he had. At the moment, he is a staple in the team.”
Lastly, in the press conference Dino Toppmöller instated the importance of Nathaniel Brown staying “mentally strong” during times where he might fall out of favour in the future.
