Borussia Dortmund newcomer Anthony Modeste has shared his thoughts on his first game for ‘Die Schwarzgelben’.
Anthony Modeste failed to get on the scoresheet as he made his first appearance for Borussia Dortmund in Friday’s 3-1 victory over SC Freiburg.
Summing up his debut in an interview with Kicker after the game, the 34-old striker said:
“Sometimes that’s how it is as a striker: You don’t score a goal, but have to work for the team.”
He added that even though he has “awesome teammates”, it will take a bit of time for him to get used to playing together with them.
“But it will work out,” the French forward emphasized.
