Barcelona star Pau Víctor could be in line for an imminent upturn in minutes over the weeks ahead.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
Frontman Víctor, of course, secured a return to Catalunya’s capital this past summer, signed on a permanent basis after a hugely productive stint on the books of Barca Atlètic.
The 22-year-old has since gone on to play a bit-part role for the Blaugrana, struggling to carve out a consistent role for himself amid strong competition for places.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the weeks ahead could present a major opportunity for Víctor to prove his talents.
Hansi Flick’s frontline is ravaged by injury problems at present, with all of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres either sidelined or short of full fitness.
And, as per Sport, as much could well ‘open the door’ for Víctor to step into a more prominent role this side of the new year.
