Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are interested in two PSV Eindhoven players as they look to continue to strengthen their squad.
PSV are currently managed by former Dortmund manager Peter Bosz and have stormed the Eredivise for the past two seasons, meaning some of the players have started to attract interest.
One is defender Olivier Boscagli. The Frenchman’s contract at the club expires in the summer meaning he could move to the Signal Iduna Park on a free transfer in the summer. While it is even possible that he could leave in the winter for a fee of around €10m. Brighton are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old.
However, Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Dortmund are currently unlikely to invest in the market in the winter despite their injury issues.
Another potential target, with Bild citing Caught Offside, is former Augsburg striker Ricardo Pepi. The US international was a certified flop in the Bundesliga and was unable to score a goal during his time in Bavaria. He has experienced a change in fortunes in the Netherlands first at Groningen and now at PSV.
The only issue is Dortmund do not need a striker at the moment, in the summer they signed Serhou Guirassy and Maximilian Beier, while Youssoufa Moukoko is on loan at Nice. Pepi is not an upgrade on any of these players.
