VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has commented on reports linking head coach Sebastian Hoeness with a move away from the club.
There has been much speculation over the future of VfB Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness in recent weeks, with reports linking him with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.
However, Stuttgart are not currently worried about losing their successful coach, as sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth insisted after Wednesday’s 0-2 Champions League defeat to Atalanta.
“There have been a lot of speculation and revelations in recent weeks,” Wohlgemuth said.
“This is no reason for us to doubt the strong and good relationship between the club and the coach.”
According to Wohlgemuth, recent reports about Hoeness have contained “a lot of speculation with an indefinable amount of truth.”
“We’re not worrying too much about that – at least not at the moment.”
Next up for Hoeness and Stuttgart is Sunday’s Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
