The BayArena club are after Palmeiras winger Giovani, who could be a replacement for Paulinho according to journalist Jorge Nicola.

Paulinho wanting a move away from Leverkusen puts the club in the market for another attacker. Giovani, an 18-year-old winger for Brazilian side Palmeiras, is in their sights. As the German club prepare to make their first bid, Ajax have already jumped in to make an offer of €17 million.
Leverkusen would like to receive €5 million for Paulinho, as the 22-year-old’s contract expires in 2023. Paulinho has recorded 8 goals and 5 assists in 73 appearances for Leverkusen.
