OGC Nice will welcome three key players back into the starting XI to face Stade Brestois on Saturday. Jonathan Clauss, Dante, and Tanguy Ndombélé all missed out on last weekend’s victory over AS Monaco, but all are expected to return.
Clauss pulled out with a minor muscle injury on the day of the game, whilst Dante and Ndombélé had missed games prior to the fixture against the Principality club. As a means of decreasing the load on Melvin Bard, Dante may come straight back in, and instead of reverting to left-wing-back, Ali Abdi may retain his place.
Hicham Boudaoui is out and therefore Franck Haise may have little choice but to re-integrate Ndombélé, who will be expected to line up alongside Pablo Rosario. Jonathan Clauss’ return will likely see Tom Louchet benched.
Nice likely line-up v Brest
Marcin Bulka; Dante, Moise Bombito; Mohamed Abdelmonem; Ali Abdi, Tanguy Ndombélé, Jonathan Clauss; Evann Guessand, Gaetan Laborde, Mohamed-Ali Cho.
