Gianluca di Marzio reports that Eintracht Frankfurt will pluck Filip Kostic’s replacement from the very same club the Serbian winger is set to transfer to. According to the Italian footballing transfer expert, 23-year-old Juventus left-back/winger Luca Pellegrini is on his way to the Rhein-Main metropolis for a scheduled medical tomorrow.
Di Marzio and the Sky Italy editorial staff speak of a potential loan arrangement. Pellegrini has played for four separate Serie A clubs. The AS Roma academy man has been loaned out thrice by his two parent clubs Roma and Juve. The once-capped Italian international’s loan stints included two at Cagliari Calico and and year spent at Genoa.
Back with Juventus last season, the youngster made 21 appearances for La Vecchia Signora across all competitions. He registered one assist. Juve will obviously have no further need for the player behind Alex Sandro on the depth chart once Kostic arrives.
