Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to reinforce their defensive units, as they’ve offered €4 million to French side AC Ajaccio for right-footed defender Oumar Gonzalez. However, this is not seen to be a direct replacement for winger Filip Kostic. Frankfurt have also recently been linked to sign PSG midfielder Junior Dina Ebimbe.
Gonzalez moved from FC Chambly to Ajaccio in the summer of 2021 on a free. Since, the Cameroonian has impressed in Ligue 2 with 3 goals, as Ajaccio were promoted into the French top flight this year. It’s still unclear whether Gonzalez would accept a move to the Bundesliga.
His current contract expires in 2023.
