Despite Juventus and Inter showing interest in signing him, Nikola Milenković has not received any offer yet in this summer transfer window.
According to La Nazione (via Tutto Juve), Fiorentina are pushing Nikola Milenković to sign a contract extension at the Florence-based club.
The report suggests that La Viola have prepared a three-year contract for the Serbian defender, who has just one year left on his current terms at the Italian club.
It also claims that the defender will earn a salary of around €3 million plus various bonuses in the new contract offered by Rocco Commisso’s club.
Fiorentina have reportedly informed Milenković of their intention to keep him for a longer period. And they are also not against the idea of the player looking for a new club in the next summer transfer window.
But La Viola don’t want to let him leave for free next summer, which is why they have proposed a renewal offer for Milenković. Both Juventus and Inter were previously interested in signing the 24-year-old defender. But with Juve completing the signing of Gleison Bremer and Inter preferring other targets to Milenković, a transfer in this ongoing market remains a distant dream for the former Partizan star.
