With the star-studded attacking trio that took to the pitch for Brazil’s World Cup qualifying tie against Paraguay, it looked as though there would be goals aplenty for the Seleção.
Despite an attacking trio of Vinícius Júnior, Endrick and Rodrygo, Brazil went goalless as they fell to a 1-0 defeat away against the Paraguayans.
This represents Brazil’s fourth defeat of their World Cup qualifying campaign, leaving them in fifth place, safe by just one point ahead of Paraguay and Bolivia.
This is a worrying result not only for the Brazil squad but also for Carlo Ancelotti and the rest of his Real Madrid squad, as three of their stars have travelled halfway across the world only to return on bad form.
Ancelotti will be hoping the trio can shake of this poor result as they return to domestic action, but the signs certainly didn’t look good in the early hours of this morning in Asunción, Paraguay.
There is also the possibility that recent comments from Rodrygo regarding his role in the squad may have caused some tension in the camp that could very well carry over when they return to Real Madrid, but this is just speculation.
