A former member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Monday confirmed his willingness to return to Catalunya’s capital.
The player in question? Arnau Tenas.
Shot-stopper Tenas, for his part, brought a close to his career-long stint on the books of Barcelona in the summer of 2023.
After the parties failed to find an agreement on the terms of a contract renewal, the 23-year-old was snapped up by French champions Paris Saint-Germain, on a free transfer.
If the latest comments laid out by Tenas this week are anything to go by, though, then the Spaniard evidently hasn’t yet given up hope of playing a part for Barcelona down the line.
On Monday, Tenas sat down for an interview with Què T’hi Jugues.
And, when drawn on the possibility of a future return to base at the Camp Nou, the Spain U23 international went on to confirm:
“Going back to Barça? Yes, sure, why not? Barcelona will always be my home.”
