Milan midfielder Yacine Adli is now set to join fellow Serie A side Fiorentina after being frozen out of the Rossoneri squad.
Adli wasn’t part of the Milan squad for the first two games and he is set to depart. Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that the Frenchman will definitely join La Viola.
The player has given his approval for the move, with the midfielder having accepted Fiorentina as his next destination after having rejected approaches from the Middle East. Premier League interest did exist but it didn’t go too far to actually pursue the signature of the player.
There is an agreement between the two clubs and the expectation is that the medical of the player will be done soon.
Adli could get more regular game time at Fiorentina, as they look for more midfield signings and Sofyan Amrabat’s future isn’t completely certain either. His potential departure might not worry La Viola much now.
