Barcelona star Dani Olmo has on Monday dropped a major hint that his official debut with the club is imminent.
This comes amid the understanding that Olmo is at last set to be involved in Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday night.
After their marquee summer signing sat out the first two rounds of the Blaugrana’s campaign owing to issues with his registration, those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou finally appear to have put the necessary conditions in place for Olmo to take to the pitch in the club’s colours.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘La Liga has authorized the Barça club to register Dani Olmo due to the possible long-term absence of the injured Andreas Christensen.’
The Euro 2024 winner, as a result, is expected to be at the disposal of Hansi Flick and his coaching staff at Vallecas on Tuesday.
And, as alluded to above, late this evening, Olmo himself dropped a big-time hint regarding as much.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the Spaniard unveiled a photo of himself in Barcelona training, accompanied by the simple caption:
‘Countdown.’
