Roma are prepared to submit an improved bid to French side Lens in an attempt to secure central defender Kevin Danso
Gianluca Di Marzio indicates that after Lens refused the Giallorossi’s offer of a €1m loan fee with an obligation to buy worth €21.5m, the capital club are prepared to launch a new proposal that is expected to be closer to the Ligue 1 outfits’ €25m evaluation for the 25-year-old center back.
Furthermore, coach Daniele De Rossi is not letting go of Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone just yet as the Italian tactician views the French international as an ideal candidate to reinforce the middle of the park.
The club continues to work on the 22-year-old separately from the pursuit of Kevin Danso as they seek to rival the Rossonerri for the central midfielder, who’s contract with the Bundesliga club is set to expire in the summer of 2026.
