According to reports, Mainz have identified Brøndby’s Nicolai Vallys as their preferred replacement for Brajan Gruda.
After selling Brajan Gruda to Brighton & Hove Albion for a reported 30 million, Mainz are said to be looking for a replacement.
According to Danish outlet Tipsbladet, Brøndby IF’s Nicolai Vallys is their preferred candidate.
Fussball.news even claims that the Bundesliga side have already made an offer for the attacking midfielder.
The problem is that Brøndby would prefer to keep Vallys, who’s one of their most important players.
According to Fussball.news, an offer in the region of €8-9 million could persuade the Danish Superliga side to let go of their prized asset.
Vallys has scored 19 goals and provided 15 assists in 59 appearances for Brøndby.
