Brighton and Hove Albion FC striker Abdallah Sima (23) has completed a season-long loan move to Ligue 1 side Brest, both clubs have announced. Sima’s loan move doesn’t include the option to make his move to Brittany permanent. The 23-year-old played a mostly peripheral role with the Seagulls following his transfer from Slavia Prague four years ago. He has been consecutively loaned out to Stoke City, Angers Sco and Glasgow Rangers. The Senegal international striker logged 16 goals and two assists in 39 games played with the Premiership side.
Brest were in the market for a striker following Steve Mounié’s contract expiry and Martin Satriano’s conclusion of his loan move. “
Brest are currently bottom last in Ligue 1 following their 5-1 home loss against Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille. Eric Roy’s Pirates have the opportunity to bounce back against Will Still’s Lens this Sunday.
