West Ham United have announced they have signed Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.
The 22-year-old has joined the East Londoners in a move worth in excess of £25 million plus add-ons (per BBC Sport).
He has penned a five-year contract at the London Stadium, with the club having the option to extend it by another year.
Summerville was a standout performer for Leeds last season as they went within one victory of winning Premier League promotion.
The 22-year-old smashed 21 goals and created 10 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.
West Ham are also closing in on a £27m deal for Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, per The Telegraph.
The experienced forward enjoyed an excellent 2023-24 campaign with Dortmund.
He scored 15 goals and created 10 assists in 43 total appearances for the Black and Yellow as they reached the Champions League final and finished fifth in the Bundesliga.
Fullkrug also scored twice for Germany at Euro 2024 after being featured off the bench, helping his national team to the quarter-finals of the competition.
But the striker will be perceived as a gamble by the Hammers who are set to spend a huge fee on a player who will turn 32 in February.
Julen Lopetegui’s side have had a very busy summer transfer window so far. They sealed a £40m transfer for Max Kilman and also brought in Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham.
The Irons are pursuing a deal for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka while they are also heavily linked with Guido Rodriguez.
