Serie A side Fiorentina have now made their first offer for Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.
The Iceland man has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Inter and Napoli, with Premier League clubs also linked with a move for him.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Gudmundsson is a man to replace Nico Gonzalez, who has been linked with both Juventus and Atalanta. The offer has been presented to the Rossoblu by La Viola.
They have offered an initial loan deal to Genoa, with the loan deal to pay the Rossoblu €5 million and the permanent buying obligation set at €20 million but that depends on various conditions that need to be met.
Initial contact has been made with the player’s entourage and it seems as if progress is being made regarding the move.
The Iceland star impressed last season for Genoa, scoring 14 times and racking up four assists.
