La Liga giants Barcelona have pencilled in an imminent pre-season friendly.
That’s according to Guillem Borràs Pérez of Jijantes, who has on Monday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Hansi Flick’s Barca are of course now in the thick of their preparations for the new campaign.
As more and more of the club’s most high-profile stars return to base following their exploits on the international stage over the summer, they are quickly being made aware of the completely new methods and expectations being put in place by the latest installation on the Camp Nou bench.
Later this week, Barca will depart for the USA, where they will play out a number of high-profile friendly fixtures.
As alluded to above, though, prior to as much, Flick’s troops will actually warm up with a behind-closed-doors outing.
As per Jijantes:
‘Barça will play a training match against UE Olot this coming Thursday, July 25. It will take place from 6:00 p.m. at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and will be held behind closed doors.’
