A fresh insight into the treatment being afforded to Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati in pre-season training has this weekend been forthcoming.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards those behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital ‘pampering’ the young attacker.
This, of course, comes in an effort to ensure that Ansu – long troubled by a string of fitness problems – does not suffer yet another setback.
The Spanish international is being put through individualised training drills, on top of activities alongside the rest of Barca’s squad.
Whilst Hansi Flick oversees the group work, the trio of Julio Tous, Pepe Conde and Rafa Maldonado are all aiding Ansu in his separate endeavours.
Why? The consensus that the talented winger still boasts the required traits to return to his previous brilliant best:
‘As we have been saying in MD, Barça and Flick are convinced that they can recover the great level that Ansu showed in his day and for this they are ‘pampering’ him to the maximum.’
