Stade Rennais look increasingly resigned to losing Désiré Doué (19) this summer. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have both submitted offers for the France youth international, whilst Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested.
Rennes are already planning for Doué’s eventual departure. Foot Mercato understands that the Breton club are considering a move for Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville (22). The Rennes consider the Dutchman as a potential replacement for the €60m-rated Doué.
However, they aren’t alone in registering an interest. PSG enquired about Summerville earlier this summer as they look to add another winger to their ranks, however, they didn’t take their interest any further. The most considerable competition comes from the Premier League.
Foot Mercato reports that four Premier League sides, including Chelsea, who also have an interest in Doué, are also in the race to sign Summerville this summer. Leeds, who failed to gain promotion back to the Premier League, want more than €20m for the winger.
