With Alphonso Davies’ contract unlikely to be extended, the signs point to the Canadian international leaving Bayern.
Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich have been in talks for quite some time over a contract extension beyond 2025, but nothing has come of it so far.
According to Kicker, Bayern are unlikely to agree to Davies’ demands for a new contract.
Although Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl, is said to have been willing to make concessions, the supervisory board has vetoed the potential deal, which would have amounted to well over 50 million.
With this in mind, a lot is pointing towards a departure for the 23-year-old, according to Kicker.
A move to Real Madrid seemed likely at one stage, but the links between Davies and the La Liga giants appear to have cooled.
