Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have rejected Milan’s first bid for Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal.
The Rossoneri have been linked with a move for Emerson in recent weeks and they seem close to signing him, but it seems as if Spurs have pegged back their intial attempt.
Daniele Longo has reported that while Emerson has an agreement over personal terms with Milan and his entourage is also keen on making the move possible, Spurs received an offer of €14 million and it was rejected by the English. Tottenham want a fee of €20 million to sell the player and aren’t giving any discounts in the move.
Intermediaries are working to make sure that Spurs’ price tag reduces but it has already come down from the previous demands. The player has an agreement over a five-year deal and is waiting for an agreement to be reached between the two clubs, with the final details of the contract yet to be sorted out.
