As reported by Kicker, Bayern Munich would be open to selling Joshua Zirzkee (21) this summer with interest from England but Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is expected to remain at the club.
Zirkzee spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Anderlecht. The Dutch youth international scored 18 and created 13 in 47 games across all competitions under Vincent Kompany.
Signed to Bayern Munich’s youth team in 2017 from Feyenoord, Zirkzee has struggled to achieve regular football at the Bundesliga champions, playing just 413 minutes across 17 games, scoring four goals. Zirkzee also spent six months on loan at then Serie A side Parma, but failed to score. But after an impressive spell in Belgium, Zirkzee has interest from English clubs and Bayern Munich would be open to the possibility of a sale.
Bayern Munich meanwhile are planning with Choupo-Moting. The 33-year-old Cameroonian forward offers a good option off the bench when Bayern need a ‘Plan B’.
