Bayern Munich have this morning announced the signing of 16-year-old Spanish youth international Adam Aznou from Barcelona on a long-term contract.
“Adam enjoyed an excellent education at La Masia at Barcelona,” said Bayern Campus manager Jochen Sauer. “We are very happy to have signed him for Bayern and to the fact that he wants to take his next steps on campus. Adam is a creative wing-back with a lot of attacking drive. He is quick, technically strong and has good crosses. We are convinced that he will strengthen our youth teams and are convinced of his potential.”
Born on 2 June 2006 in Barcelona, Aznou is the son of Moroccan parents. Upon signing, the 16-year-old added: “Bayern tried very hard for me. I’m very happy about this move and looking forward to continuing my education at this big club.”
Aznou has represented Spain seven times at U16 level, making his debut in November 2021.
