Chelsea are set to part ways with Armando Broja this summer and reports in France state that Monaco are leading the race for the striker.
Ben Jacobs reported this week that everything is pointing towards the 22-year-old leaving Stamford Bridge having returned from his loan spell at Fulham, where he received only 80 minutes of Premier League action across eight games.
There is a big race on for Broja as the striker is still viewed as a player with a lot of potential.
According to Jacobs, Premier League trio Wolves, Crystal Palace and Everton are all interested in the Chelsea star; while Monaco and Milan are both tracking the forward as well.
Chelsea are in the market for a top striker this summer and the sale of the 22-year-old would help fund it. The Blues valued the Albanian star around the £50m mark before his loan move to Fulham, reports Jacobs, but interested parties are now looking at securing his services for no more than £25m.
With the race for Broja set to be an interesting one, L’Equipe reports that Monaco are leading the way to sign the striker, but that could change very quickly with the transfer window just around the corner.

The career of Armando Broja is a funny one as the striker has never kicked on since his impressive campaign with Southampton during the 2021/22 season. The 22-year-old has failed to impress at Chelsea and Marco Silva felt the striker was not good enough to lead the line for him at Fulham throughout the second half of this season.
A major part of this is the serious ACL injury the Blues star suffered last season, which is a setback that can have a huge impact on a player’s career.
Whoever signs Broja will be taking a risk, but with the 22-year-old still having a lot of potential and costing around £25m, that may be a gamble worth taking.
