A whole host of notable inclusions and exclusions alike were noted in the latest training session held by La Liga outfit Sevilla.
That’s according to Marca, who have provided an insight into the ongoing developments in Quique’s squad.
Sevilla, for their part, are fresh off a much-needed post-international break return to winning ways this past weekend.
As much came as a solitary strike on the part of Sergio Ramos proved enough to put Getafe to the sword at the Estadio Coliseum.
And yet, with eight games of the season left to play, the Nervionenses can’t afford to rest on their laurels.
Still just six points clear of the La Liga drop zone, next up comes a meeting with a Las Palmas outfit in the midst of a three-game losing streak.
On Wednesday, Quique’s squad, in turn, linked back up at the club’s training base, to kickstart preparations for the trip to Gran Canaria.
And back amongst the group after sitting out on Tuesday were the quartet of Djibril Sow, Lucas Ocampos, Marcos Acuña and Nemanja Gudelj.
On the other hand, absent from outdoor activities were all of Sergio Ramos, Youssef En-Nesyri, Marko Dmitrovic and Marcão, who underwent individualised training sessions in the gym, as part of a load management schedule.
Lastly, nowhere to be seen was January loan arrival Alejo Véliz, albeit with the Tottenham frontman having been given permission to fly to England, to deal with some ‘bureaucratic issues’.
