A fresh insight into the plans of incoming Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick to fill out his coaching staff with the club has today been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards Flick having already decided on two of those set to join him in Catalunya’s capital.
First up comes Marcus Sorg, who acted as the tactician’s right-hand man during his time in charge of the German national team.
Also in line to follow Flick to the Camp Nou, meanwhile, is Toni Tapalovic.
Tapalovic served as the goalkeeping coach at Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich from 2011 all the way through 2023.
At Barcelona, however, he is set for a new role, as a technical assistant.
This comes with Flick having green-lighted the continuation of current Blaugrana goalkeeping coach Ramón de la Fuente.
De la Fuente is highly appreciated by Barca no.1 Marc-André ter Stegen, with fellow countryman Flick evidently eager for the pair to maintain their working relationship for the season ahead.
The German is expected to put pen to paper on his contract in Catalunya at some point over the coming 24 hours.
