Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 17.

In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Joshua Kimmich or Jamal Musiala.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 17.
Micky van de Ven, Wolfsburg (Defender, 4.5M, 2%)
Van de Ven had a great game against Freiburg last time out, scoring 13 points in Wolfsburg’s 6-0 thumping of Freiburg. With Paulo Otavio suspended in mid-week, van de Ven is likely to deputize at left-back, which could increase his chances of picking up points further. Costing just 4.5 million and playing for an in-form team against a Hertha side coming off a 3-1 defeat against Bochum, the Dutchman could offer great value for money.
Julian Ryerson, Dortmund (Defender, 5.7M, 16%)
As predicted by several sources, Ryerson came straight into Dortmund’s starting line-up against Augsburg following his switch from Union Berlin. The Norwegian international did quite well on his debut, racking up seven points despite conceding three goals. With his low price, he offers a cheap way into the Dortmund defence for their stand-alone fixture against Mainz.
Christopher Trimmel, Union Berlin (Defender, 9.4M, 6%)
With his incredible 24-point haul against Hoffenheim, Trimmel outperformed all others players in the game on Matchday 16. Playing against a Werder side coming off a shocking 7-1 defeat against FC Köln, the veteran wing-back should have a good chance of doing well again.
Mitchel Bakker, Leverkusen (Defender, 9.6M, 1%)
While the ownership of Leverkusen’s marauding right wing-back Jeremie Frimpong is (understandably) up to 37%, his teammate on the left flank is flying on the radar. Owned by just 1%, Mitchel Bakker just got on the scoresheet against Gladbach, meaning he has now racked up two goals and an assist in his last four Bundesliga games. With Leverkusen locking horns with relegation-threatened Bochum at home in mid-week, the Dutchman could be a great differential.
Patrick Wimmer, Wolfsburg (Midfielder, 11.4M, 0%)
After emerging as one of the best budget options in the game in an Arminia Bielefeld shirt last season, Wimmer’s price rose considerably following his summer move from Wolfsburg. Wimmer was initially unable to live up to the price tag amid an injury-hit start to life at Volkswagen Arena, but he looks back to his best now, having picked up 13,25 points on average in his last four games after his 19-point haul against Freiburg. Wimmer picked up a knock in that game, but will be able to play against Hertha, according to AZ/WAZ.
Florian Wirtz, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 12.5M, 13%)
Wirtz missed Leverkusen’s 3-2 win over Gladbach yesterday due to a cold, but Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has hinted at a starting role for the youngster against Bochum, saying ‘Die Werkself’ “need” him.
Dominik Szoboszlai, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 14.6M, 11%)
Having provided the assist for RB Leipzig’s 1-1 draw with Bayern, Szoboszlai is one of the most intriguing options for the mid-week matchday, with Leipzig facing bottom-placed Schalke 04.
Jonas Wind, Wolfsburg (Striker, 10.7M, 0%)
Wind looked sharp against Freiburg, bagging a brace and amassing 16 points, and will now be unleashed against a Hertha side that just conceded three goals against Bochum.
André Silva, RB Leipzig (Striker, 12.2M, 1%)
Although he is yet to live up to the expectations at RB Leipzig, Silva has certainly shown in the past that he can score goals in the Bundesliga – particularly in the 2020/21 season that saw him find the net 28 times in 32 games for Eintracht Frankfurt. The Portuguese international had a fairly quiet game against Bayern, but will face a different kind of opposition this time, with an away game against Schalke 04 coming up. Another plus about bringing him this week is that he’s on sale and costs 1.3 million less.
Moussa Diaby, Leverkusen (Striker, 14.3M, 6%)
Diaby didn’t score or assist in Leverkusen’s 3-2 win over Gladbach, but managed to cause plenty of trouble down the right side, linking up well with Jeremie Frimpong. Having scored eight goals in 23 games this season, he’s arguably the biggest attacking threat for a Leverkusen side facing Bochum at home in mid-week.
