An update on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s impending return to Milan has this evening been provided.
It is of course common knowledge that negotiations between ‘Ibra’ and the Milan brass have been ongoing for several weeks now.
This comes with a view to the Swede, after finishing out his playing career at San Siro earlier this year, taking up a role in the boardroom.
And, as confirmed by Sky Sport, an agreement between the two parties is inching ever closer to being found.
Ibrahimovic is primed to become the ‘right-hand man’ to Rossoneri owner Gerry Cardinale, keeping a watchful eye over matters on and off the pitch alike.
All that remains to be defined are some of the finer details of the former striker’s contract, with Ibrahimovic’s lawyers currently studying the proposed offer closely.
Is it therefore suggested that an official announcement regarding a deal between the parties is close, even if not yet ‘imminent’.
