According to an exclusive report by Foot Mercato, West Ham United are interested in reinforcing their defence with the loan signing of Tosin Adarabioyo (27) from Chelsea FC.
The French outlet writes that the Premier League side are determined to strengthen their defence in the winter transfer window. West Ham have the fourth-worst defensive record in the league having conceded 27 goals in 14 games.
Adarabioyo who has made 11 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions this season could be persuaded to join West Ham, where he would expect to have more regular playing time.
West Ham spent heavily in the summer when they looked to revamp their squad for the new manager Julen Lopetegui. However, results have not reflected the nearly €145 million investment and the club sit 14th in the table. The pressure looks to be on for Lopetegui and the club have been heavily linked with bringing in a replacement.
