Goals from Benedict Hollerbach and David Datro Fofana gave Union Berlin three important points in Wednesday’s basement battle against FC Köln.

Union Berlin picked up three important points at the bottom of the Bundesliga table with a 2-0 win over FC Köln on Wednesday evening.
Benedict Hollerbach broke the deadlock for the home side in the 55th minute, cutting inside and unleashing a left-footed shot into the top corner.
Second-half substitute David Datro Fofana then sealed the victory in the 78th minute when he coolly smashed the ball past Marvin Schwäbe following a pass from Kevin Volland.
The win moves Union up to 15th in the table, three points ahead of Mainz, FC Köln and Darmstadt with a game in hand.
