Tyler Dibling transfer bid as Palace look to replace Eberechi Eze

Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing to launch a transfer bid worth a total of £45m for Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling.

The Eagles look ready to rival Everton for the signing of the highly-rated young English winger as they look to replace Eberechi Eze.

As has been widely reported by the Athletic and others, Eze is set to leave Palace for Arsenal in a big-money move.

Palace will need to replace their star attacking midfielder, and Give Me Sport are reporting that they could launch a £45m package at Southampton for Dibling.

It won’t be easy to replace a talent like Eze, but Dibling is an exciting prospect who could be worth investing in.

Give Me Sport state that Palace would offer an initial £35m for Dibling, plus other bonuses in the deal taking its overall value up to around £45m.

Their report adds that the south London club expect to bank around £65m from selling Eze, so this looks like smart business if they pull it off.

Dibling impressed with Southampton in the Premier League last season and looks like he could be a good addition for a number of top flight sides.

Everton have also been pursuing the 19-year-old, according to the report, so this is a worry for them as Palace now have a good amount of money to work with after selling Eze to Arsenal.
