Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League hero has attracted the interest of Benfica and Napoli, both huge European clubs. However, it’s unclear whether Trapp would even be interested for a move in the first place. The 24-year-old is only signed to Frankfurt until 2024, as the club has been looking to extend their star for quite some time.
Trapp consistently ranks in the top 5 in nearly every statistical category for goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. His performance on the world stage during the Europa League further boosted his image as one of the best keepers in the world. The German international is in second spell at Eintracht after playing for PSG from 2015 to 2018.
X News #Trapp: Frankfurt would like to extend with him but now there are two clubs who are very interested in signing him: Benfica Lissabon and Neapel! Loose talks took place. Too early to say at this stage what Trapp will do in the future. Top goalkeeper! @SkySportDE 🇩🇪

Frankfurt are in the midst of a busy summer as Filip Kostic and Evan Ndicka could also head for the exit. As no offers have reportedly been made, it’s difficult to see Frankfurt’s hero moving on this summer.
